I knew the game. I still failed the demo.
I've had a chance to spend time with Mr. Chicken's Totally Ethical Farm as an alpha tester, and I have permission to help promote it. That does not mean I have mastered it. This video is my first KAPPIN PLAYS attempt at the publicly available demo, including the part where I failed.
Instead of explaining away what happened, I'm leaving the experience in the video. Give it a watch, grab the same free demo, and let me know whether you can keep your operation running better than I did.
What is Mr. Chicken's Totally Ethical Farm?
It is an indie first-person farming, management, and automation game about building a chicken operation into a profitable egg empire. You collect and sell eggs, buy equipment, expand the farm, and work toward more automated production.
Breeding, genetics, chicken care, feeding, packaging, conveyor systems, and farm layout all give you more to manage as the operation grows. The title is part of the joke: the game leans into dark humor about squeezing more productivity out of a supposedly ethical farm.
Play the free demo and wishlist the game
The Steam demo is free, so there is no need to take my word for how the game plays. Download it and try it yourself. If you like what you see, adding the full game to your Steam wishlist is a straightforward way to support the project.
Independent KAPPIN PLAYS coverage
I'm an alpha tester and I have permission to promote the game, but this is my own gameplay and commentary. KAPPIN PLAYS is not the game's official website. I can update this post with corrections, new screenshots, or follow-up notes as needed.
